LOOKING FOR FINANCING:
APPARITION FILMS is looking for international
financing for a Dramatic feature film titled DOMINO EFFECT Written by DON
MAESS and to be Directed by ANDREW COPP. The script is a departure from the
experimental/horror genre in that it is a direct Drama dealing with one family's
implosion.
We are also looking for financing for a comedy script called DRIVE-IN FRIDAY
NIGHT, that is a comedic look at kids working at a Drive in during the early
80's.
And also a full length anthology (well sort of in the same way PULP FICTION could be considered an anthology) about the travels of a handgun.

A lot is happening here at Apparition Films.
Andy Copp just finished a script for a horror sequal tro a 70's grindhouse
classic that is seeking production funds. DRIVE-IN FRIDAY NIGHT has just finished
a rewrite. And a new horror film about religious fanaticism is beginning the
writing process. Plus trailers for all of APPARITION FILMS movies are now
available on YOU TUBE.

Holy Shit have we been busy! First off check
out our Photo Gallery of the beautiful TELSA,
star of THE ATROCITY CIRCLE.
Look for her in some future projects from us.
Secondly, we have been actively workign onour
next feature film, URBAN REALITIES,
a co-production with NIGHTBEAT ENTERTAINMENT. The film is an anthology of
short horror tales that all take place in the inner city. Apparition films
director Andrew Copp has been co-producing, doing effects, and co-wrote/directed
the first segment FUN IN THE OLD TOWN TONIGHT, about three teens who think
driving around, beating up homeless people and videotaping it is the ultimate
in a good time. That is until they get caught in a trap set for losers like
them, that leads to bloodshed, cannibalism and ultimate retribution. Director
Andrew Copp says "The piece is my reaction to the pieces of shit who
made those Bumfights tapes. It's my way of getting back at those who take
advantage of the poor"
The piece stars newcomers Brian Dixon, and Rob Morrick as well as Apparition
films whipping boy Joe Mackenzie as the dumbass teens. Starring as the homeless
victims are Matt Brassfield and Andrew Copp, and newcomer Breanne Parcels
is the beautiful young woman who is the lynchpin of the story.
The other stories are being director by producer Greg Tucker, and fellow filmmaker
Andy Nall. With professional animal training by Charles Cooper. FUN IN THE
OLD TOWN TONIGHT will have a sneak preview showing at CINEMA
WASTELAND in Oct. 05, with the entire film to be fnished by the end of
the year.
ALSO Andrew Copp's latest experimental short
film KING KILL
33 is available for download HERE.
The short is loosely based onthe essay by James Shelby Downard that deals
with the Occult implications of the Assassination of President Kennedy. Check
it out and leave some feedback!

THE ATROCITY CIRCLE is finished and shopping
for a distributor. NEPHEW OF SHAFT is
finished and playing on local TV and should be in a shorts compilation to
be produced in time for the next CINEMA WASTELAND! Pre-Production has begun
in earnest for URBAN REALITY an omnibus movie produced by Greg Tucker with
the first segment FUN IN THE OLD TOWN TONIGHT directed and co-written
by Andrew Copp. Shooting should be done onthat by mid June.
Early Pre-production on a promotions reel for an untitled Elizabeth Bathory project to Star Michelle M. and Telsa is underway as well for a Summer shoot date. So there is no shortage or projects of work here at Apparition Films headquarters!
